More Dishwashing
Speaking of dish washing. We bought a new dishwasher yesterday! The timer on our old washer broke. Instead of putting any more money into it we decided to buy a new washer for whoever buys our house. We bought a washer on sale for $300. It is definitely an upgrade from the contractor's cheapy that we've been using.
I forgot to mention one thing in my dishwashing blog. When I took out the sprayer to put in a soap dispenser, I added a sprayer attachment to the sink faucet. Its just a little thing you screw on that swivels to spray your dishes or sink off. I bought it at Home Depot for less than 10$. It is so much more convenient than pulling out a long hose and stuffing it back in. I NEVER used the hose.
About the home building project. I have been waiting several days to get some kind of document from our title company proving that we have a deeded right of way to our property. The only way to get to it is by a private road. We have to prove we have legal access on that road in order to get a construction and land loan. Now I know why people build homes in subdivisions. Buying farm land out in the country and building a home on it is a GREAT BIG PAIN! Actually, we're not out in the country, we're up in the mountains. This is something my husband is feeling a bit regretful of. Right now we have a beautiful view of the mountains from three sides of our home. Up there the only view we have is of some rolling hills. I personally can live without the mountains.
