We Have Finally Moved In

We finally moved into our house on March 3rd! It’s not completely finished and we don’t have our furniture yet but it’s livable and we’re so happy to be here. We were camping out for about a week but Friday I got my washer/dryer hooked up, my refrigerator delivered, the shower doors installed and the hot water working in my kitchen. I feel like a modern woman again!

Along with my furniture I’m still waiting on my counter and stove top in the kitchen and the cabinets and sinks in two of the bathrooms. We also have to put down the brick floor in the sunroom and brick and install the wood burning stove.

I also don’t have any closets built yet. I finally borrowed some hanging clothes racks from my Sister-in-law yesterday so I can hang up our clothes. I need to buy some curtain rods but I won’t be able to make the curtains until my sewing machines get moved in. This isn’t a huge problem since we live in the middle of a field but I keep the lights off at night when I’m in the bathroom just in case someone can see in!
