Organize Your Quilts

Are you
A. Lazy – you don’t want to fold up your quilts every time you use them. And
B. Organized – you don’t want your quilts to look like a mess every time you use them.

Then this idea is for you. Hang them! And I don’t mean hanging them neatly folded on a quilt rack. I mean taking two seconds to pick up a quilt and throw it over a hook on a peg-board that you made out of a cupboard door that came from an old house that your parents tore down. I just had to throw in that tiny little fact that I can be very handy sometimes. I think I might just give myself an award.

Ohhhhh, I LOVE that! All of our throws in our family room are folded on top of our televisoin armoire. Guess who always has to fold them. Go on, guess. That's right...ME. I am so going to do this! THat way my girls can plop them up there themselves.

I need to do this for their towels too. I have had THAT planned for a year.

Do it!

Are you going hang towels on a peg rack? If you do then sew some ribbons loops to them because otherwise no matter how the kids hang them, they will fall off.

Good idea.

I wasn't going to use pegs, rather a routered board with some darling antique-looking hooks from Target.

IF I ever get around to doing it.
