Get Well Basket
Thank you! I am feeling much better today. I can stand up without getting dizzy and nauseous. The kids have really pitched in and helped with the baby. Mostly I just lay on the couch while she uses my face as a stepping stool to reach things behind the couch. Things such as the Get Well Basket I made for myself. I think its way better than flowers. Don’t you? It holds tissues, cough syrup, Advil, water and my reading and writing books. I got tired of carrying all my gear from room to room in my weakened state so I dug a basket out of storage to contain it all.

Awww... sorry you're feeling bad! I must have missed the sickness post. Anyway, hope you feel better soon! And the basket is a good way to keep track of your stuff. I do that from time to time for things like sickness stuff or diapers and wipes or whatever.
Sorry that you are sick again. ARe you going to be well enough for the corn maze? Our trip was incredible, too short but great. If you need anything call.
I was just thinking (as I'm getting over a cold of my own) that the next time anyone I love gets sick I'll take them a get well basket full of that expensive Kleenex -- you know, the Puffs with lotion kind. Good stuff!
Hello! I just found your blog and you are a woman after my own heart. I am enjoying your blog...I love how organized it is. I'll definitely be back for my "fix". Thank you. Laura (org junkie)
I'm a tissue snob. Our bums get the cheap stuff but it's only the best for the noses in my house!
I actually use the same concept when I have a newborn in my house. It is so nice to have everything contained.
I'll have to remember this idea for the next time we get hit with a flu or colds.
Thanks for the tip.
This sounds amazingly like my diaper basket! A day's worth of diapeys, wipeys, butt cream, booger sucker, tissue, tylenol drops, etc.
great basket! so sorry to hear you are feeling so miserable!
hopped over here from your commetn at organizing junkie - love your little photo of your baby so much! :)
When was the last time I told you how brilliant you are? Love the basket!
