Your Organizing Bag Ideas

I’m setting up this post to be a place where all you Organizers can share your own ideas for using the Lazy Organizing Bags. (If you don't know what a Lazy Organizing Bag is, click on the link to find out all about them!) You can post your ideas here in the comments or you can leave a link to a post on your own blog where you have written about using the bags. (I'm flattering myself that someone will actually blog about my bags!) I hope you’ll include photos!

You’re welcome to just let me know how you like your bags or if you have ideas for new styles. Thanks for participating. I can’t wait to hear what you come up with!

*Please link directly to the post about using your Organizing Bags, not to your blog's home page, so it will be easier for us to find the right post.

I am very happy with the big bags I got from you. I am active in several non-profits, and it's great to be able to keep their stuff together, easy to identify and ready to grab and go. It's particularly good when there is stuff that doesn't live happily in a file folder.

I'd love to see bags with the handle on the short side instead of the long side, but I wonder if it's a matter of cost?

Thanks from Ann B. in CT

Thanks Ann. I'm so happy you like your bags! I think I would like the handle on the top too but you're right, I just wanted to make them as affordable as possible. Maybe next time I can put the handle and the zipper on the long side. What do you think about that?

Ann - I received my small bags today (11/22). I love them already! My only wish is that there would be a size smaller for...well....I would figure out something! Thanks for the speedy replies & mail. :)

Thanks Gaye! I'm going to make time after the holidays to make some new sizes and give them a test run. I'm so glad you're enjoying your bags.

Hi Lara!

I love the bags and have already begun to use them around the house. One of the small ones is holding all of our paintbrushes for the kids' craft area, and one of the big ones holds their squeeze paints- it takes up much less space that the boxes they were in before.

We also had many mini videotapes of the kids since our first was born and they've just been piled in a corner of the kitchen. They fit perfectly in one of the big bags! Yay! We're going to put up some pegs in our closet so they can hang there out of sight.

I'll be getting more at some point! Thanks!

I love the bags! We've got everything from A-Z in them (wooden alpahbet letters). I was able to save space by putting puzzle pieces and the box top in one small bag. I'm hoping to organize our son's epi pen and allergy medication in one so that it's ready for when we walk out the door. They're even better than I was hoping - great quality material.

Lara,
I've been meaning to tell you how much I love my organizing bags. We used the large one for a set of Spirograph parts and pens on a family trip. The medium sized one is my favorite, though. It's just the right size (as you suggested) for wipes and diapers. I love having a simple bag to grab when I don't need the whole massive, 12-ton diaper bag. The other day, I thought I had lost my organizing bag at the park and I was truly sick with despair at the thought! No kidding. Fortunately, I found it tucked in the bottom of the stroller the next day and I had to do a little happy dance because I was so relieved.
Love and many thanks,
Julie Q.

Love the bags. The smallest size is great for a jewelry pouch, another for medicines. My MP3 player and earphones in another. Airport security could see exactly what was in them.

I finally found a home for all my coupons and flyers in the Medium bag which hangs on the door handle of my office. Now, I just grab it and out I go instead of having them lying around and forgetting them until I get to the store. Works for me and helps with my surface clutter.
