Who’s Child is This?
Have you ever met a one year old that plays with a bag full of toys at your feet?
Then when she’s finished and runs off you turn around to find this?

I have heard of the “Pull everything out of the bag as fast as you can and throw it on the floor” game but I have never heard of “Put everything back when you’re finished with it” game. Anyone? Anyone? Do you think she’ll be able to teach her old brother and sister to play it too or is that just wishful thinking?
Stay tuned for another episode of "Baby Organizing" next week.

Wow, I wish my 2yr old would do that lol. He's really good at the "spread everything around the house, into every room, and undue the cleaning as mommy does it" game.
Talk about a mother joy moment! That second photo is beautiful.
I am so jealous.
Wow, how wonderful. I am so envious. My son (10 mo.) just loves to pull e-v-e-r-y toy out of the toy box and then leave to wreak havoc on the rest of the house!
By the way, I've been reading you for a couple of weeks & couldn't stay hidden any longer!!! I really enjoy your blog. Thanks.
OK what did you put in those bags!??? I wish I could get my 4th graders to put things back!
lol! Cute little sweater btw. :-) My guy likes to either remove everything from a container or put everything in. It depends on how he finds it. If i want him to put things in i take everything out - but never has he done anything so neat. Can she come teach him this trick?
I second Becky...i've been a quiet observer but am coming out of the woodwork.
Looking forward to next weeks episode!
I hate to be the bearer of bad tidings, but I had a little guy like this. He LOVED for things to be "just so" -- wanted everything lined up and orderly. Now he's 9. I plead with him to at least make a path in his bedroom so that I won't break my neck coming to tuck him in. I'm hoping "Mr. Orderly" is still in there somewhere, but he's definitely on sabbatical!
It must be a girl thing because boys... boys would never do this.
LUCKY!
What else to you expect from the daughter of the the Lazy Organizer? Must be in the genes. ;)
Wow, you really are good!!
The bags have magic organizing dust in them didn't you know?
My now 30 year old son has always been this way also. When he would return from Trick-or-Treating, he would organize his candy into categories. He would come get sandwich bags (no zip-loc back then) and organize his army men by color before he put them in his toy box. To this day, he is extremely organized; at his house you can always find the Spaghetti Seasoning packet - it is filed alphabetically between the Chili and Taco Seasoning packets.
I find that somewhat disturbing. =P
Ya, how soon do you think we should get her into therapy?
Oh, were you talking about Lovely or the spice thing? We had alphabetizing spices on our homeschooling schedule for next week.
