About Shoes
Thanks to everyone who joined me in my new SMART Habit Saturday. Everyone had such wonderful goals and habits to work on and even my seven year old joined in! It's been three whole days and I've already had some ups and downs with my habit. More about that on Saturday. Keep up the good work Smarties!

I have wanted to post a poll on my site for some time. That's what that "Question" link is for over there in my sidebar. You were wondering about that weren't you? I love polls. They are so fun! Go ahead and tell me your deepest darkest shoe secret.
Updated - My husband informs me that there is no zero on my shoe poll for him. The only reason he has zero extra shoes is that he wears each pair until they disintegrate into dust. If anyone else has zero pairs of shoes they don't wear then please leave a comment about the organized miracle that is your life! Confess!

I guess this blog site is geared toward the women folk, because there is no 0 on this poll.
I was looking for the zero as well! I've often felt like I'm not a "real woman" becuase of my deficiencies in the shoe department.
I have a pair of dress shoes, a pair of casual shoes, a pair of sneakers, a pair of winter boots, and a pair of sandals. That's it.
Do you think there are support groups for women like me? =P
Yea, I had zero shoes for the first twelve or thirteen years of marriage but am slowly building up the collection. I've discovered I really love shoes. No really. Love them.
I brought a lot of pumps and dressy shoes with me from NJ, it seems I had more dressy occasions there. So my extra pairs are mostly fancy ones that go with a fancy dress. You would be proud of me, my regular rotation is in a big square basket by the door and my off season shoes and extra dressy shoes are in a shoe bag that holds 30 pair of shoes. (It's not full...because of the basket.)
Good thing you asked this question now instead of before my closet purge in November.
When visiting my sister over Christmas, I brought along a pair of boughts I bought(used) that were so darn cute, but after trying to wear them 3 times I decided I am cannot do that high of a heel. So I put them in her garage sale pile.
Hey how fun..a poll...I just voted but now I think I need to go organize and purge some shoes...lol.

I'm planning on organizing my closet this month. I haven't done it in a few years. And there's plenty of shoes and purses that need to be sent to the thrift shop.
