I Wish I Had Thought of That
Kids - "Mmmmm, it smells good in here! Did you make bread?"
Mom - "Yes, wash your hands and you can have some."
Victor - "Mom, I have an idea. We should make a new rule that everyone has to wash their hands before they eat."
Mom - "I thought we already had that rule."
Victor - "Well, we should make it a real rule and everyone should follow it."

...and I was SO sure that my kids were the only ones that never take their parents seriously...
p.s. I am sure that this is the umpteenth time that you have heard this but... I love your blog.
That's funny! I love the label you gave this one too :)
Too funny!
Thanks for starting off my Monday with a laugh. I needed that.
Very funny!
Oh! You're one of THOSE moms...The kind whose kids don't always do what you ask... Pity.
Very smart kid!
Love it. I remember the day The Boy's friend announced (after I asked them to wash up for dinner) "But I just washed my hands yesterday!"
You need to get him to define "real rule". This might be this missing parental link we've all been searching for!
p.s. Are you coming to the Children's Museum with us? Are ya? Are ya??
Too funny! A real rule.
LOL! But it kind of makes you wonder what else hasn't jumped to the classification of "real rule"...
How cute! What a smart idea. ;)
Uh Oh! Sneaky things!
