This is sad and wrong.

Hopefully the photos are working now. Can you tell me why blogger changes the html when I publish some of my posts? I'm especially having the hardest time with the videos I put on my blog. Why? Why would they want to make my life more difficult in this way? What did I ever do to them?

Did anyone go watch the chicken video? Click on the link below, watch the video and tell me what you think.

Ok. I am never eating store bought chicken or eggs again. Maybe.

Vegan anyone?

Definitely something to think about.

The Bossy Hen

Chickens Are A Wonderful Bird

The Moody Teenagers

These photos don't convey how much fun we've had with these chickens. When they're not trying to kill each other or peck our toes off we love them. Kind of like kids.

I watched the chicken video. And the cow video. And the pig video. And now I'm nauseous and thinking I will go eat a cucumber. :^P Umm....thanks for sharing that video link. I think.

That was some seriously disturbing footage. I guess ignorance really is bliss. We get our eggs from a "free-range" farm. The difference in quality is amazing. The yolks are completely different.

I'm glad you're enjoying your chickens. Do you have a rooster too?

I've always thought raising chickens would be fun. My husband says otherwise :)

I think I'd love it at first, love the eggs then get tired of it. Bears tend to break in and eat the chickens here.

Be very afraid. One of your hens is going to disappear and turn up weeks later with 17 beautiful chicks. You will not be able to catch them and coop them up. In one year, you will have 60 chickens, crapping on your back step. They will occasionally crawl under the house and die, usually just before your child's birthday party, and the smell will be quite an experience for your guests. Eggs will be hidden everywhere for miles. You will curse the day you ever thought keeping chickens would be a good idea! Doooom! Doooom!
Nan.
