About Home Schooling
The results of my last poll on kitchen organization really surprised me. What is the deal with all you organized people reading my blog??? Are you just here to laugh at how unorganized I am? Or maybe you're organized but you struggle with it like I do. Either way we're all into getting (and staying) organized so I guess we can stay friends.
I'm continually shocked by how many home schoolers read my blog so this time I'm curious to know how many of you aren't sending kids off to school this fall...

I, too, am amazed at the number of homeschoolers floating around in cyberspace! Until now, I was never even tempted to CONSIDER it, but I find myself thinking about it more and more. WEIRD. But they make it sound like so much fun!
As for my organizational skills, well, let's just say you can rest assured there's at least one person who looks to you for inspiration!!!
That's right - we're taking over the world, one blog at a time! Come and join the dark side! Mwaha-ha-ha!! (Imagine evil laugh here)
Another homeschooler here. My dd, now 13, went to kdg until we took her out. My ds, 10, has always been homeschooled. I write about it a good bit on my blog (the why we do it, the fun parts of it, the occasional downfalls)
And as for organization.....I'm trying. It's slow, but I'm trying! Your site motivates me! Keep up the good work.
I'm with Lori- come to the dark side. We have cookies.
We are homeschoolers as well, and only recently found out that there was this whole "blog world" out there, who knew? :)

PS I can't wait until I win the quilt in the raffle!!! : )

I am amazed by all the homeschoolers I've 'met' online. It's nice to have that has a support when you come from a small town with very few who homeschool.
I would love to homeschool. I thought about it for a whole two minutes and then I realized that I would probably end up locking them in the basement and CPS would take them away from me. So I carted them off to public school.
My hair accessories and my kitchen are the only things that are REALLY organized in my home. My family would get lost in potato roots and food that had grown feet and learned to walk if I wasn't neurotic about it. The hair things, well that is just my thing. You inspire me on every other level though.
Many homeschoolers are using space at a premium...trying to fit two or three uses at a time, and stay organized to boot, for living areas that were meant to be vacated during the day while at school/work. We're using our homes for home, school, research/library, and work as well. For myself, personally, this means I'm always looking at productivity sites, or organizing blogs to see what great ideas others have that I might be able to incorporate. Thanks for such a nice blog (I found it from your flickr pics).
