Life is Moving Too Fast
I'm afraid I will never catch up. We did get our cement poured last week and it's lovely.
We're now the talk of the town. I can just imagine what everyone is saying, "Can you believe they finally have sidewalks at that house?""I know. I thought it was abandoned but I guess people really live there!"
Come on people! You can tell from the fuzzy sheep blanket hanging in the window that someone lives here. And these aren't wild chickens running around don't you know.
I would show after photos of the cement but the chickens pooped all over it as soon as we let them out of their cages. That kind of thing doesn't make pretty photos.Remember how I was worried about chicken tracks in our cement? Did I happen to mention the cats?
The workers fixed the cat tracks but we decided to leave the sweet little troublemaker's hand prints.
We ended up with a chicken print after all.
Can you guess who the little foot print belongs to?

um. i have a guess. but i hate looking like an idiot!
Ok then, I'll guess :D My guess is that you put a little footprint cuz you are gonna have a baby?! Am I right? :D
I love that you included a chicken print - cute! Also, my guess is you are pregnant & borrowed a friend's baby to signify it. Or you have a niece/nephew that got in on the fun?
How long are you going to wait to tell us the answer??
I'm with Kara and Rebecca on that one. If we're right then that was a great idea to include baby in this memory. It will be cool to look back and really remember where you were with the hands, foot and claw. Great thinking there. I'm excited for you guys!
Too cute with the chicken print. My guess is also that you are pregnant, but made the print with your hand. I used to make them like that on steamy windows all the time!
very, very cute.
(I meant the chicken print, of course)
;)
That is so cool. I love sentimental stuff like that, I'm weepy just looking at it!
Well I have no idea why you have a foot print there but can't wait to find out!! Don't keep us in suspense girlfriend!
Haha, LOVE the chicken print! Congrats on finally having cement!!
Oh that is SO adorable!! And if that baby print in cuz you are preg, that is the coolest! I LOVE the chicken print!!
I think chicken prints would have been cuter than cat prints LOL At least the chicken prints would have looked like a pattern!
I know! I know!
AWWW! Are you pregnant?! I'm excited for you, and all I do is read your blog each day. Huhmm, if that counts as getting to know you, then I am thoroughly enjoying it! SO love the chicken print, imagine many years down the road, your house is sold, and the people who come to look, sees that, they'll be like, "Awwww look, they had five, wait a minute, four children, and an, uhm... chicken?!! Okay, we'll buy it!" haha!
Oh, I know how you did it. Tee hee hee...I used to do that all the time with the side of my fist and poking holes for the toes. :-D
But, one has to wonder if you had any signifigance in putting a little BABY foot. Hmmm...
Ooops, don't tell anyone I homeschool because my spelling is atrocious.
I meant significance. (smile)
And, um in case you are wondering, yes I did look up how to spell atrocious.
Have a great day!

Oh, it's lovely. :D

Awww...what a sweet way to share the news!
That's way too cool...
You guys guessed it! We're expecting our fourth baby next May. It was my sister's idea to make a little footprint for the baby with my hand. Now let's just pray it's not twins!
Congrats! What a clever way to share the news! I hope this pregnancy goes well for you.
Congratulations! :)
Congrats! So cool. And love that you have cement and put prints in.
Congratulations! I was thinking that sort of announcement would have had it's own post. How fun & the foot print looks great, sweet idea! And it's great that you all are getting so much done before the baby comes - but I'm sure that was part of the plan all along. When are you due?
