Week Seven

You guessed it. I'm pregnant! The baby is due some time in May. Everyone has decided it's going to be a boy and I don't really care either way so I'll just go with them on that.

Just so you know, this whole thing was Stranger's idea. I don't just mean the getting pregnant part but the having another baby part as well. Don't get rude with me because I will love our new baby when it gets here but until then I am hating its guts because I am VERY sick and I probably will be until it's born. If you want to read about how bad it can be please visit my friend Stephani's blog where she has been blogging about HG. She describes what it is here. I wasn't even pregnant at the time but all her posts describing her suffering made me bawl my eyes out. I cried for her pain and for the pain I felt through my sick pregnancies and because I knew Stranger was going to make me go through that all again.

Don't get me wrong, he loves me and hates to see me suffer but in the end he loves his babies more so he is willing to endure any amount of suffering, on my part, in order to get them here. Isn't that courageous of him? He's a baby lover. It's pathetic. You should see him when we see cute babies in the grocery store or at Church. He can't take his eyes off them and is always the first one to run over and pick the baby up. It really is embarrassing the way he drools over them.

So this is our fourth, AND LAST baby. Do you hear me Stranger? You are not talking me into this again!!! I don't care what promises are made. Speaking of promises. Do you want to hear what I got out of it this time? Anything and everything.

That's right. Stranger has to do everything I tell him to. I get whatever I want, when I want it and I always get to be right. Frankly I think he got the better end of the deal because he's not the one that has to be sick but it's too late to turn back now.

BTW Honey, did I mention that we'll be bringing the baby home from the hospital in a new van?

Congratulations! I'm sure the pregnancy and your new baby will give you plenty of blogging material!!!

Emma's probably right that you'll have plenty of blogging material, my concern is, will you be healthy to use any of it?!

Hope it isn't as bad this time around.

Oh, and I hereby scowl and any one who even THINKS about giving you a rough time about not jumping for joy over the prospect of being miserably sick for nine months. So there!

Congratulations -- you were smart to have a contract with Stranger!! :-) Wish I could get one of those, but seeing as how I would have to MAKE one of those for hubs to agree to another, I don't think it's happenin'!

Congratulations! I'm 11wks over here and have been amazed at the lack of (well, not total) morning sickness and puking. I'm feeling very lucky. It's also #4 over here.

Muchas felicidades.

Oh yeah...and can stranger come over and play with my husband? If the baby-lover thing is contagious I would like him to be exposed to it.

I also hear that daily massages from husbands can help you through a difficult pregnancy.

Well now the baby prints make sense. Congratulations!

So nice to have that deal. It's so hard to be excited when you feel so sick. I was not sick at all for one and it was the best ever. Sure wish it was like that all the time. What a difference.
Take care!

Oh and definitely milk this one for all it's worth...lol.

Congratulations! Hopefully the months will fly by for you and the baby will be here before you know it. I love the footprint in the cement idea. Very cute.

Wow, I can't imagine going through all of that, but then I didn't have normal morning sickness either. I will pray for you as God leads me. If your blog isn't updated often or at all over the next months we will all understand. If lights & reading make you sick blogging must not be enjoyable during that time. I hope that you have an easier pregnancy this time around.

Congratulations!! I never had problems with morning sickness (I just puked out of the blue, but felt fine!), but I saw this vinegar remedy a while back. Take care of yourself -- and definitely treat yourself to a new van. You deserve it!!!

Congrats girl that is awesome! (The pregnancy, not the sickness that goes along side it). Valleygirl is right about the vinegar mixture, also what really works well is flat soda. Feel better hun!

Oh Congratulations!
But don't listen to anyone who offers you a cure to the sickness... none of it works.. none of it!
First time around I thought the spewing was just because I was having twins - I spewed every day until they were born a 29 weeks... but no... I spew no matter how many babies are in there as I also spewed every day for 42 weeks this last time!! So I feel for you.. I really do...

I's expecting #4 as well, although thankfully I am on the other end of things and have 1 month from Tuesday to go (but who's counting.) Before I got pregnant I was gearing for it and very ready and eager. As soon as I found out I was, I thought, WHY oh WHY am I doing this again!! I hope you get past the icky first months without too much trouble!

CONGRATS!!! I'm sorry you get so sick with pg though :( My aunt gets HG too and I can't imagine how hard that would be. I hope you won't be too sick.

Oh, and I wish my hubby was like yours lol. I'm so baby hungry but haven't been able to talk him into another lol.

Congratulations! I'll be praying for you and that the sickness will relent.

Lara, I'm so excited for you and your family. I'm really sorry you get so ill and I hope this time isn't so bad. If I could pass on my non-sick pregnancy genes to you, I would. Take care of yourself!

Congratulations! I know how you feel. I don't get sick the WHOLE time, but it is a pretty miserable experience, and I really didn't enjoy one bit of any of the 5 pregnancies. That's 9 months times 5...45 months, which is almost 4 years of miserable.

My husband loves babies, but he's going to have to get his baby fix from other people's babies, now. So, when he asks to hold other babies at church, I always hope they let him.

But I wish you a happy non-miserably agonizing pregnancy and a healthy baby.

Congratulations! This is exciting. Does your morning sickness typically last through the entire pregnancy or subside after a few months? I couldn't imagine! I was really lucky with both of mine.

Congratulations will be relevant to say in about 7 1/2 months...For now, UGH! I'm sorry you're sick. I think you should use the "get whatever you want" to hire a cook! :) Good luck!

Congrats & hopefully you start feeling better soon. I had 2 bad pregnancies & told hubby no more! We have 2 girls & he wants a boy. I give you credit because i told him he wants a boy, he can go somewhere else, I'm done, lol. I have my 2 ballerinas & I'm all set :) Congrats again & I love what you did with the cement, very cute with the baby print & the chicken, loved it!

Oh, you poor honey! I know, I become a maniac and start throwing up before I even miss my period, and it lasts 9 months. Otherwise I'd have 10 babies! I really hope it gets better, soon. Good luck!

I am so glad you announced it. Seriously, the moral support from the blog world is one of the few things that got me through one of the worst trials of my life.

You are totally entitled to hate being pregnant and hate what is making you so sick. It wasn't until the last month when I really thought that I could love this baby.

This is the meanest, worst, most evil thing that can happen to a pregnant woman. It takes something so beautiful and turns it into something so rotten. I am only a phone call or an e-mail away...and I am only 10 minutes away. If you need ANYTHING, please let me know! I haven't been on the computer as much because the whir of my new computer makes me sick.

Wow! CONGRATS! I have been reading your blog for quite sometime and have found it useful to keep my sanity. Enjoy your pregnancy and do share with us the way you cope with Morning sickness etc. I am due in April.

Congratulations!!

I have three children and had HG for two of them (both girls, by the ways ~ something about those girls). HG, to put it plainly, sucks BIG TIME.

You know what I did when MY husband suggested a 4th? I marched him to the urologist and said, "NO WAY!" LOL!!

I hope you start to feel better soon . . .
