Win a Free Organize Magazine Subscription
Edited - This give away is closed and the winners have been notified. Thanks for participating!
Your Organizing Bags are finally here! Stranger picked them up for me today so my kids and I are going to be doing our best getting all your orders boxed and shipped. It's going to be a big job but hopefully we will get it all done this week.

To celebrate I have some fun things to give away this week. To start with Organize Magazine is giving two of my readers free subscriptions to their fabulous magazine! Can you stand it? All you have to do to be entered to win is leave a comment on this post telling me what kind of features you would most like to see in an organizing magazine. I will leave the comments open until Friday at noon or some such time that's close enough.
I should have done this a long time ago but I am finally getting some photos taken of my bags in all their organized glory. How am I doing this while I'm sick you ask? It's easy when you have two helpers to send scouting around the house collecting treasures to stuff them with. We're only getting started but take a look at the new Flickr badge in my sidebar to see what we did today.
Now I hope you'll have sweet organized dreams tonight knowing your bags and hopefully your Organize Magazine subscription will soon be on their way. And if you haven't ordered yours yet, (the magazine and the bags) what are you waiting for!
P.S. If you are interested in making money on your blog by becoming a Lazy Organizer affiliate, please e-mail me, lara at lazyorganizer dot com. If you get signed up in the next few days you will be able to participate in my Organizing Bag give-away that's coming up. Don't miss out because all the popular girls are doing it, don't ya know? Check them out...

Hi there! I think this magazine looks awesome, and I'd love to be entered in the drawing!
Two features I would love to see in an organizing magazine are before and after shots, and some articles about keeping your home office organized.
you are one of my favs anyway, but to actually win the subscription-WOW! i would be most interested in articles about playrooms/toys/kids, of course!
Ooh, I want a subscription! I just love drooling over organized rooms, but especially kitchens, I'm always looking for ways to cram all my junk into our too small kitchen.
Loved the first issue of Organize magazine. I would love to win a subscription. Two things I would love to see: ideas for organizing basement/attic/off season storage areas, and more clever kid-related organizing-- as the 3 kiddos I have are working far more quickly on entropy in my house!
This magazine would be right up my alley, especially if it told us how to utilize all space possible in a small apartment with two young kids.
I love reading your blog. I love your approach to organizing and surviving motherhood!
I think my favorite feature in an organizing magazine would be organizing a room without spending a penny! I love the beautiful baskets, perfectly matched plastic containers . . . but I often just can't afford them. I would love to see ideas for using what you have and just plain simplifying your life! Thanks again for the fab ideas.
I like before and after pictures too, but I really when people use what the have on hand to organize instead of buying new systems all the time.
The thing I would most like to see is how to organize on a budget. And also, how to organize my time, because sometimes my to-do list is what's in need of organizing!
I'm not sure if you ship to Canada but I wanted to put in what I'd like to see in an organizing magazine... how does one organize in a garden?
Love the bags. Will have to take pictures of them in use this week.
One feature I would like to see in the magazine is articles on how to get others in the house (ahem, hubby) to get organized (and stay organized).
That looks like a great magazine. I would love to get ideas for organizing in small spaces (particularly kitchens and bathrooms). I would also love ideas for furniture that doubles as storage.
I'd like to see organizing product reviews and frugal alternatives. I also like before and after pictures.
I'm going to ask for organizing bags for Christmas. I'm such a nerd.
hmmmm....what don't I need help organizing. I would love how to organize my brain but that might not ever work so maybe more on scheduling, paper trails etc. Thanks for this!
SHorty
I love Organize magazine. It is always fun to see ideas about storing kids' things. Love new ideas for storage.
I think what I would most like to see is ideas on kids' rooms and organizing on a very tight budget!
Thanks for all your ideas!
I would love a copy of the magazine. A feature i would like to see is organizing with kids....how to help them learn, how to organzie all the crap that goes along with kids. For those of us that have many kids, how to organize the outgrown clothes that someone else will wear in another couple seasons, etc
Heather
Once upon a time I was organized, now I am not... HELP me, please!! I really need this subscritption. I want to find my way back to the land of a place for everything and everything in it's place. I promise to come back all the time!!!
I need help with clutter, purging, and organizing papers. lol I need a lot of help, huh?
What a great giveaway! I like reading about different ways people tackle certain problem spots--mail/bill paying stations, kids toys, etc...
I also really like when you can repurpose items you already have for new storage solutions.
*just a chuckle--my word identification today is "vashme". I can only imagine someone from Germany begging me to wash them.
If I really had my way an organizing magazine would give me step by step instructions on how to best organize my actual house with my actual stuff. Seriously, wouldn't that be awesome?
In reality it would be a neat feature to show how items can be used for organization in an unexpected way, re-purposing items or picking up items with the intention of using them in a different way than what they are marketed for.
*smiles* I'd love to enter the contest. I'd like to see more stuff on keeping organization intact with kids that keep un-organizing all my efforts...LOL.
I have had this magazine on my amazon wishlist for some time now. Some things that I would love to see in an organizing magazine are:
- Ways to use everyday items to organize the space. (Being frugal)
- Before and After photos for "eye candy" and to show the difference what organization can do to a space.
- A single page devoted to each room in a home- Office, bedroom, kids bedroom/playroom, kitchen etc. every month.
- Paper & Filing techniques that quiet the paper clutter which is bog in most homes especially mine!
Renee B.
For me, some good things in an organizing magazine would be baby steps, and also paper-pile decluttering tips.
Oh, I'm totally sitting in that I want these bags but need to set the money aside for them and realize once and for all that I'm not going to take the time to make them myself. Blast! Anyway could affiliates get paid in bags???
Features I would like to see in an organizing magazine....
1) A review of the different organizing systems out there. IE, one magazine you would review the SHE system, another you might review Flylady, another you might review Getting Things Done.
2) Some discussion/tips on struggling with getting the behavior to go along with the head knowledge. IE, if you already know -how- to organize, but are just being lazy, how do you handle that?
I would love to see a comparison of all the different organizing systems, as mentioned in the comment above. (Does that make me a copy-cat?)
As a fellow mom of four (yes, the incubating one already counts) and an obessive organizer, I just want to say THANKS for all the wonderful advice and products to help us with our day-to-day lives. You rock!
Wow! I didn't realize that there was an organizing magazine out there, that sounds like too much fun! I love seeing the before and after pictures.
I would enjoy a subscription to Organize Magazine. I've heard some great things about this magazine. Please enter me!
I would like to read some articles on organizing a craft room, and a laundry room.
Wow... I've never seen an organizing magazine before, so I really honestly don't know what I would like. I think before and after shots would be nice. Also, organizing on a budget for a normal family (something like less than a $100). Organizing kids and office space. Oh.... Organizing craft and sewing areas would be fantastic!
Hugs,
Melinda
I would love a subscription to that magazine. Because, honestly, I'm NOT organized. WEll, I like to think that I'm organized, but my house is not organized. I'd like to see articles that help me get rid of clutter. ARticles that actually JUMP out of the magazine, come over to my house, and ruthlessly throw out unnecessary items that hinder our organization. Do you think it will do that? Here's hoping.
Pick me! Pick me! Please oh Please. Best advice is for us moms... how to organize our daily routines (morning, after school), menus, grocery lists, laundry, etc etc
I'd love to see articles about how to start getting organized if you are feeling completely overwhelmed with clutter, and also how to help a child KEEP their room organized.
i would love to see a regular column on organizing on-the-cheap. i love the container store and others like it, but if i went there for all my solutions, i'd break the bank. thanks!
put me in the drawing! i would like to see articles on organizing with what you already have, and on helping kids organize themselves (and staying that way!).
The first thing I would like to learn how to organize a craft/junk room. Second, would be how to organize all of the things we have kept that are special from my sons growing up (18 & 21).
I would love to see some features on organizing with children such as:
1. Best way to store toys, especially ones that may be used at a later time by a younger sibling.
2. Best way to organize art supplies -- from markers to crayons, coloring books, paper -- as soon as I organize it, it falls back into chaos again.
3. Best way to organize outgrown clothes that will be used in the future by younger siblings.
4. Best way to organize school papers and projects.
Kids rooms & closets are what I wanna see.
I would love to see articles on organizing frugally. I hate to have to spend a lot of money on organizing supplies/containers. I'd also love to read articles about organizing closets of all types: laundry, coat, bedroom, broom, etc.
Thanks for entering me in the drawing! :O)
Bloggiville has become a place of ultra-giveaways!! Everywhere I look people are giving things away and do you think I'm going to miss out on that - NO WAY!
Oh, and add to that the fact that you are giving away ORGANIZING paraphernalia, and I'm am SO in!!!
Ok, my favorite thing (if I really had to choose) in an organizing magazine would be when they feature small and humble dwellings, because well, some of us live in such places. (smile)
Thanks for the opportunity to win!
~Mercy~
I would LOVE a subscription - and honestly - I would read anything they put in it!! How about organizing in a small home - Those who live in houses BEFORE giant closets and pantries :)
I, too, would love to have a subscription to Organize! Just the name makes me feel better!!!
I would like to see features on organizing kids playrooms/bedrooms. Also I like features on using things you already have around to organize your messes...meaning I would not need a large outlay of money to get organized! :)
I would love the magazine.
I would love to see ideas of organizing toys and a pantry.
I love before and after shots, too - I find them really inspiring.
I'd also love to see information on simple habits that make staying organized easier (like opening your mail over a trash can) and creative solutions to problems - like maybe a product used in a new way.
Looks like a great magazine. What features I would like to see... ooh a recipe for magic organizing dust... no such thing? darn! How about how to organize on a budget, and where there's no extra storage space (eg. closets, etc.)
p.s. what does a Lazy Organizer affiliate do?

I'm impressed...those bags are great.
What I want in a magazine: cheap ideas. Things I don't need to buy at a store but can make out of materials I have.
Things that I can do in many places. The ideas that work at my house, in my office, and in my car!
a subscription would be wonderful. i'd love to see some stuff about organizing coupons.
Found your blog via Rocks in My Dryer. An Organizing magazine sounds great - I love to organize things!
I've been longing to look through that magazine. I'd like to see ideas on organizing the outdoors stuff that accumulates; ie; bikes, tools, lawn care stuff, etc., when there is not a garage available, only a small shed.....
I'm all in on the contest and in total agreement on an organizing magazing having before and after photos along with a detailed description of the process involed in the pics! Also, I would love tips on how to repurpose objects for organizing. Extra money is not always in my budget. Thanks ~jenn
I have always loved your organizing bags...just don't have the money to buy one. ;) Anyway...what would I like to see in an organizing magazine...ways to organize various rooms on a very tight budget. :D
How to tame the never ending Paper Clutter is exactly what I need in an organizing mag. I think I have a way but it then fails me so it is a never ending battle.
~Trcay J. VA
Well, maybe I need a lesson in typing because I spelled my name wrong!!!!!!!
~Tracy
I would love to be entered in your drawing.
As for the magazine - I would really like to see spaces such as pantries (small ones), freezers and refrigerators organized. There are always beautifully organized HUGE pantries, but I've never seen a beautifully organized SMALL pantry (without the use of a billion dollars worth of Tupperware).
1. Budget organizing ideas
2. Kids school papers: artwork, homework, teacher notes, etc.
3. Home business paperwork/office
How to keep the kitchen counter from being the "drop all point"! Also would love before and after picts of laundry rooms or craft rooms. Our is still unfinished and I'm always looking for ideas. Thanks!
I wanna win! :-)
I read through the most recent issue of Organize Magazine and I wished they had done some "real" life makeovers with before and after shots. I also am found of handy charts. Charts on how long to keep certain types of papers and such.
Lara, what I'd really like to see in an organizing magazine is how to schedule out your life when you have to work full time and then get home and have a family to feed and clothes to wash and a husband who is almost as devoted to his fantasy football league as he is to YOU! Do they have those articles?
My previous comment didn't seem to be published, so forgive me if this is a duplicate! (Hey, would that count as two entries?)
I NEED this magazine. We live in a smallish rented home with limited storage and two boys under 4! I am most interested in maximizing our limited living space by organizing our stuff! Specifically, I'd love to see ideas on organizing our home office/laundry room/pantry. (It's a scary room to be in because of the clutter. I avoid it as much as possible.) And then, of course, there's all the kids' stuff.
Okay, who doesn't need help with organizing? I love reading all types of books and magazines on organization but actually doing something about it is a different story. I might try it if the article was bout how to organize without spending over a certain amount $50, $25, or even $10. Hey, sounds like I should just invest in organizing bags!
I would really like to see some articles on how to organize kids rooms so that as they grow older a Mom can still use the same organizers and bedroom furniture but in different ways. Thanks for a great blog. So glad I found it.
I would love to see some organizational tips/ideas for small apartments (think 2 adults, 4 children in a 1000 sq. ft. 2 bedroom apartment). Especially if there are restrictions on what you can do (no painting, big holes - so no anchors, etc.) That would be of awesome interest to me!
