Talk About Tuesday
Welcome to Talk About Tuesday! If you are new you can check out the Guidelines before posting. Thanks for joining us!
We didn't get any exciting projects done last week because we were out of town. Victor did organize the toy room though so I'll post photos later.

This is another organized room courtesy of our piano teacher Jane. Don't we just love Jane? I had to show you this because when you walk into her bedroom you first go through this cute little sitting room where she has comfy couches and a tv. This is where I take naps while my kids have their lessons in the basement. It's adorable not to mention organized.

This is a cute little bread bear that Persistence made at her book club this month. They read the American Girl books and then do fun activities from the book. Aren't homeschooled kids so unsocialized? Lovely thought the bear smelled very yummy. So yummy that a few of its body parts went missing shortly after this photo was taken.
Last but not least, a few years ago Stranger bought a car to drive when he's taken a train to Green River. The owner said that if it ran he would sell it to him for $100 and if it didn't he'd sell it for $50. He paid $50 but he got it working in no time. It always felt weird to me that he owned a car I had never met before.

I'd like to introduce you to the 1976 Green Liver. All I can say is he'd better not ever bring the thing home. Not that it would make the trip if he wanted to. How many of you have husbands that are humble enough to drive a piece of junk like this around? Humble or cheap. However you want to say it.
What do you have to talk about this week?

that car is sweet!
also, there isn't a room in my house that is EVER that 1. clean... or 2. uncluttered. i hate renting.
I want to live at your piano teacher's house!
I'm still playing at GeMoOrgNo
Beautiful house! Food looks good too!
ooh, she has a gorgeous house. We are the same. our mother is not really badly disorganised but by my standards she is. I ended up being super-organised, my brother is the same and my sister is somewhere in the middle generally but with her house quite organised :)
This is my first time - I hope you'll come visit!

Yes! I do love Jane...keep them coming...
How old are her kids? I'm surprised that she can keep her place looking 110% all of the time!!!
That bread your daughter made looks to cute. Jane's house looks really organied. Wow.
Things I love about your post:
1. you sleep during your kids' lessons - awesome!
2. you post pix of someone else's home
3. you homeschool??? wow! you do it all!
4. that car. enough said!

What a pretty room, I'd love to have a sitting room just outside of my bedroom when I grow up ;) What a fun bread! The car makes me think of National Lampoons, even though I'm almost positive it wasn't the same type of car.
Raising my hand here. I was the one driving the old beater Suburban for several years til we could get something else. I kept telling myself it didn't matter what anyone thought, that it got us from point A to point B and that's all that mattered.
Fun bread, and yah, your kids are not being 'socialized' properly. (wink, wink) How nice to nap while being serenaded by your children's piano lessons. Happy napping!
Love your posts! However, I can't see the images in the posts anymore! The come up as not found for me even when I try to look at them directly at their main link (not linked in the blog!). Oh well...one day I will see the great piano teachers house! *laugh*
I don't blame Lovely for eating that bread. It looks awesome!
That car is TOO much!! I could only wish my husband were humble AND cheap enough to drive it.
*LOVE* that room ~ very nice indeed!
And an American Girl book club? How lovely! Maybe I will organize one with my daughter and her friends. Awesome idea!
thanks for the inspiration. first-time linker/commenter and am enjoying the visit. it's nice to be inspired by other people's good ideas.
