Cravings

I went a little crazy last week in the produce lanes at Sam's Club . Was it pregnancy cravings or is all this healthy eating making me want more and more healthy food? I thought the four cases of oranges and grapefruit I ate this winter was just a phase I was going through. All I know is that all this stuff is disappearing fast. I sneak into the kitchen when the kids are in bed and stuff whole kiwi's in my mouth. It feels so naughty. Last night I had an orange for dinner. Ya. That was it. This baby has taken over my abdomen and doesn't want to share with anything. Not even food.

Do you see the baby countdown over there? Less than five weeks to go! I am feeling it too. My hips and joints hurt so badly at night that I want to cry every time I roll my big belly over. But I am still torturing myself at the gym. I have to or I know I wouldn't even be able to get off the couch. When I am on the couch Lovely has a new game that she likes to play. It's called balance the book on Mommy's tummy and see how long it takes the baby to kick it off. She keeps telling me that she got her baby out of her tummy already and we need to get mine out too so we can hold it.

Other than the pain and the waddling and the not being able to eat I don't really feel too bad (Is it bad or badly?). I would tell you how big the baby is getting but I don't know because I have an aversion to going to the doctor. There's something about waiting in a doctor's office with three kids for two hours that I just can't get excited about. I've only been four times this whole pregnancy. The kids keep bugging me about it so I guess I should try to go again this week.

I'm excited that I got my office organized last month because I think that was my last big hurrah before the baby is born. I thought really hard about painting my island yesterday but instead I sat on the couch and knitted a baby hat while making my kids wait on me. Doesn't that sound more like what an eight month pregnant woman should be doing? I'm glad you agree.

I like the game of letting the baby kick the book. That's funny.
I do agree that you should just sit on the couch and knit. Sounds good.
Good luck with the rest of the pregnancy. Hope it goes well!

All that produce looks so yummy! :)

As I'm TTC, I probably shouldn't read about the last weeks of pregnancy - it might scare me away. LOL

In the first trimester I craved fruits and vegetables like crazy! My doctor was glad to hear it! I especially wanted tomatoes!! (I've had similar cravings with the others, too!)

Wow, only five more weeks? All the produce looks delish. And I love the game Lovely has made up.

I remember those aches and pains and how the whole bed would move and shake every time I rolled over. Keep hanging in there!

I'm in the same boat only I was craving anything fried or sugary. Lucky you, you'll actually be healthy when the baby finally comes along!

Congrats on the 5 week countdown. I have just a tad longer than that :) !! Do you typically deliver early or late?

And I am always craving fruits and veggies. Bring them on.

32 (well, probably more like 40 for me) more achy nights and nauseated mornings! I think I can, I think I can...

Cool blog, I just found you from Laughing Duck! We drink raw milk too, organic, hormone/antibiotic free and all that. $5/gallon and it tastes like nothing else! We made butter too but didn't rinse it well enough and were only able to use it one day.

I have "insert" accidents too, you aren't the only one.

We are expecting too, guinea pigs, not human babies. I'm too old for that and my firstborn is about to be 15 next month!

Anyway, very neat blog.

That's exactly what you should be doing. I need older kids to wait on me.
I too crave fruits. Rolling over is an ordeal, and being squished is no fun.
I agree dr appointments are a pain. I have 4 in one week this week. Maybe I should be more like you and just not go.

What a great update post! I am glad you are craving fruit!! :)

Get thee to the doctor!!!!! :-D

(Although I completely understand. If I was able to be a better nonconformist, I would never go to another doctor again...)
