June Habit: Meal Plans Again!I made two dinners this week. I guess that's better than none! I also make sour dough pancakes this morning which was pretty amazing since I have to start them the night before. I planned ahead! Tonight I'm starting sour dough pizza dough.
We did some organizing this week but somehow the house doesn't look any better. How does that happen? Oh ya, kids happen!
Good luck with your habits this week!

Lara,
Sorry it is taking me so long to get back to you about my pizza oven. It is by Oster and it is model # 3224. For example, while a frozen pizza says that it takes 20-25 minutes in a 350 oven and that will end up heating up your house as well, the pizza oven cooks all the large frozen pizzas in 12-15 minutes (less for thin crust). We've only had homemade or fresh pizza from the grocery prepared foods department a couple of times and so we haven't quite figured out how long on that one but it is less than a traditional oven and it doesn't make your house warm like a stove oven. Maybe that makes it more energy efficient as well, I am not sure about that though. Their website is www.oster.com Like I said before, I LOVE my pizza oven.
Kids do happen and so does life. My philosophy is to just start yet again going back to the goal.
Kids can learn good habits when they are young and they will thank you later for teaching them to organize. I have 5 daughters and they all thanked me when they lived with slob roommates at college. It is nice to get some kudos from the kids.
I was the one who left the anonymous comment--I pushed the wrong button, I really am Marilyn.
Yay for the dinners and breakfast you made! I always feel good when I feed my family a meal, but unfortunately it doesn't happen as often as I'd like.
It's nice to know that I'm not the only mom who organizes and then notices that the house still looks messy. :-)
I hope you get feeling better.
Oh meal planning I'm just can't get good at that. I must be to spontaneous or something;) I have found having a family favorites recipe book and trying to keep most of the staples on hand to fix those favorites has worked out best for me!
