Smart Habit Saturday

Smart Habit SaturdayWelcome! If you are new to SHS find out all about it here: Getting Started with SHS. Please don't forget to link back to this post so your readers can find out more about SHS.
June Habit: Meal Plans Again!

Finally! We did a good job with meal plans this week!!! We learned something though. It's much too hot for meals that have to go in the oven.

Next week we will be eating more salads and stir fry. I finally made it to town today so we are stocked up on fresh fruits and vegetables for a while. Tomorrow we will be dusting off the green drink machine. It's time to start eating healthy again and it should also help me with my low iron problems.

Have a great week!

I'm having a hard time thinking of menus for the summer also. Every week is a new chance to do better. Good job!

If you think of any good non-oven using recipes-let us know. I can't take another night of taco salad, shrimp salad, cob salad, greek salad and it's only JUNE! Good luck!

Yep summer time we like lots of differnt kind of salad too ie. pasta, fruit, taco, etc. I also like making differnt kinds of sandwiches, veggie, creamy cauliflower, and my mock "egg" salad sandwich made with chick peas! Heating up a oven in the summer is just not that appealing! I'm also looking forward to lots of sweet cool mellons this summer!
