Baby Love

I'm still here, pregnant, patiently waiting. If our Valentine doesn't arrive sometime this week we will have to force it out March 1st. I've been pregnant this long so I guess I can do it for 8 more days.

I got a pile of papers cleaned out of the kitchen this morning. I've decided on a new system for coupons and gift certificates. I've been keeping them in my planner notebook but they take up a lot of room and we hardly ever use them! I'm going to start keeping them in the door pocket of the van and keeping a list of them in my notebook, including amounts and expiration dates. Hopefully it will work better for us if we can actually see a list of what we have. We have restaurant certificates that are years old. I want to wait till I'm not pregnant anymore and can actually eat. Then we'll start using them up.

Nesting Anyone?

Yes! I am finally over my head cold! I even drug the family to the gym tonight. I got in my usual work out and I feel so much better. I was getting depressed from being home sick for a week.

I'm still waiting for that "nesting" instinct to kick in. I did get my bathrooms cleaned today and the plants watered. Yesterday I helped the kids clean out their school drawers and organize all the papers into their art books. They're getting really good at choosing what to keep and throwing the rest away. Their books are finished for the year so we'll be starting new ones for 2005.

I just realized it's almost my blog's 1 year anniversary! I'll have to do something special on the 17th to celebrate, if I'm not giving birth that day. Can I please have everyone pray for me to go into labor soon? Tomorrow would be great!

Stop Whining and Make The Bed!

I think I need to start posting more to keep myself motivated. I really like to write about all the little things so if it bugs you then just delete me!

My excuse for the week (besides being 9 months pregnant!) is that I've been sick. Our whole schedule has been thrown off. I can't go anywhere and I don't feel like doing anything. Luckily the kids are already in the "Mom is big, fat and pregnant and can't do anything for us let alone herself" mode so they have been dealing with it fine. They have started complaining that we're not going to the gym though. I told them their Dad would take them tomorrow but it turns out that he will be going right back out to work so they're out of luck.

I'm trying to think of any Organizing I've done in the last week. Nope, nothing. Oh, wait a minute. I cleared off the peg rack. The coats and hats were piled so high that the kids couldn't find anything. I told them they could keep two jackets/sweaters out and the rest had to go in their closets. Now the rack isn't such an eyesore.

I've managed to keep on top of the kitchen and the laundry. My two main stays. If I can keep those jobs done I can't get very depressed about the rest of the house.

I've thought of another goal for the month. Making our bed. I am on and off with this chore. It's really hard to want to make it when I know Chris will be coming home in a few hours to sleep and mess it up again. There is no way I would ever get him to make it so then I would just be making it again when he gets up. What do I do here? Do I only make it when I get out of it or do I really exert myself and make it every time someone sleeps in it? I think I'll start with making it once a day. I can always work my way up to bigger things from there right?
