Oh there is so much work to do! I would be finished packing by now but house building has taken up all my time. It’s a good thing our closing was moved back a week till next Wednesday.

At the Farm: The subs started putting in our heating and air conditioning yesterday and I met with the electrician today. Here’s a photo of our sunroom. You can't see them but there are horses running around in our back field. They belong to the neighbors. They're mowing our "lawn" till it snows.



We’re trying to buy all our appliances. I have a new addiction. The classifieds on KSL.com. I’m already in love with E-Bay and garage sales. KSL.com is great because you can get the big stuff that you couldn't afford to ship and without driving all over going to garage sales. It’s better than listings in the newspaper because you can look at photos and e-mail the seller for more details. If you’re in Utah you need to check it out.

We're Moving

This is the latest on our new house. We finally have the roof on and the inside walls are being framed.

The best news is that we have sold our home! We should be closing next week and moving out. I’m not excited that we have to move twice but at least we have a place to stay between moves. A friend of mine from the gym was looking for someone to house sit for a couple months. They’re leaving next week and will be back shortly after our new house is finished. The timing couldn’t be better!

I’m taking time off from the gym while I get the house packed up to move. I’ve already gone though so much of our things this last year that it shouldn’t take me long. In the last two days I’ve gotten most of the basement cleaned out and all the wall hangings and decorations packed up. Yesterday I found the BEST boxes for moving. I went to Walmart and the meat department had medium sized boxes with handles. I’m going to call and have them save me some more.

I can take comfort in the fact that after we get into our new home I am never moving again! After a childhood of moving almost every year I want to finally be settled. Moving is so much work and so stressful on everyone in the family, especially children. My children have lived in our current home their whole lives. They are very sad to leave it and their friends. Luckily their very good friends across the street are moving too so they can’t be mad at me for taking us away from them.
